Last century (well, over 20 years ago) there were hardly any bras available up to a G cup, let alone anything larger. Of course there were brands like Freya and Panache that were making great bras up to a G cup but it was slim pickings for GG cup and H cup bras and beyond. It was also hard to find back sizes in 28 and 30 (6 and 8 in AU/NZ sizing) so can you imagine if you were a size 28H or 30H? There would nothing but granny bras in a big back size that you had to have taken in at the back for you. If you were a band size 40 (18 in AU/NZ sizing) you were lucky if got a well-fitting bra in black, white and nude. And 42H or 44H? Forget it.
